You may remember that an earlier blog post mentioned items that pack and take with me despite my penchant for packing light. Here are my five favorite things that I NEVER travel without. EVER. Links included with each item.
I just LOVE this item! People often look at my pictures and say, “what a great photo, who took it?” My response is “Me!” Easy to use and allow a solo traveler like me to capture beautiful images all by your lonesome! The link is to the one I specifically own.
Sometimes you may want to go out without a fanny pack or even a crossbody purse but you still need to take some cash and credit cards in a secure way. Well, this it! You can carry cash and a credit card on your wrist and no one will be the wiser. It includes RFID tech so no one can lift your card number either. Good stuff!
This is the ying to my zipper wallet’s yang. If I need to carry large sums of cash on me, which is rare, I use one of these. And because I never know if I will need to, I always bring this along or wear it in transit. It’s pretty light and I sometimes forget I’m wearing it.
Listen there is no other noise-canceling headphones worth having. Period. Yes, they are expensive. But they are worth every single penny. I can sleep through ANYTHING with these on. If you’re going to buy noise-canceling headphones – these are it.
This is hands down my favorite neck pillow. EVER. I have several neck pillows but this is the one I take on every trip since I got it. You wrap it around your neck and it holds up your head at varying angles. And I don’t wake up with neck pain! Love it!
Honorable Mention: Cordless Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush
This is a creature comfort that I take everywhere I go. I love my cordless electric toothbrush and I honestly believe it cleans my teeth waaaay better than a standard toothbrush. It was recommended to me by cousin and dentist Gary Lucombe, DDS of Delucs Dental in Silver Spring, Maryland. One of the best tips ever! It is on the pricey side for a toothbrush but to me well worth the investment. I rarely have to charge it and that’s an extra plus.
These are my Five Favorite Things which I NEVER travel without.
